BRAND IDENTITY + WEBSITE DESIGN
Moss is a modern, design savvy store, now open in Coromandel, a beautiful holiday destination located in New Zealand. With access to gorgeous beaches and beautiful forestry. The store is full of beautiful things, homeware, clothing, furniture, gifts. The owners, Dulcie and Belinda came to me before opening the store to ensure they launched confidently and attracting their dream audience from the get go.
Because this is largely a trend driven store the brand also needed to be quite trendy and modern but have longevity. By keeping things clean, clear and simple, this will give their brand more impact and presence whilst also being modern. Using bold typography and modern colours with added details will bring their brand into that distinctive space, making it memorable and stylish.

I got a sense Moss was more seated in a Winter season (colour psychology) from key brand attributes such as compelling, cutting edge, distinctive, high end, impact, modern. With the Summer season coming in second with attributes such as creative, quality, beautiful.
Because I see this as more of a Winter brand I have reflected this with strong bold colours, while also bringing in the greens inspired by the name Moss and the surrounding forests and nature walks.
The pewter brings in some added extra special detail keeping it modern but with impact.

By keeping things clean, clear and simple, this gives the Moss brand more impact and presence whilst also being modern. The use of bold solid typography, with black for added gravitas is super modern. Lots of clear space will also keep things looking clean and clear and modern.
Using bold typography and modern colours with added details helps give this brand that distinctiveness, making it memorable and stylish.
