BRAND IDENTITY + WEBSITE DESIGN

A boutique wedding and events venue, situated in Ararimu, just past the Bombay hills on a deer farm. Deer Valley also offer accomodation and spa retreats.

Deer Valley came to me ready to launch with a bang! They had spent the time perfecting their venue and hosted a few events but wanted to launch looking their very best.

COLOUR PSYCHOLOGY

I had a sense Deer Valley is more rooted in a Summer season (color psychology) from attributes such as attention to detail, beautiful, elegant, gentle, graceful, quality, romantic, timeless, understated.

I haven’t used a solid black as I think it would be too plain and stark. Instead I have used a matte black combination which can be used when a little more impact is needed. I feel this also ties in with the venue building colour. I have paired this with a gorgeous olive green and a touch of soft blue and some soft natural accent colours to help bring in the nature side of the venue. These colours all contribute to a soft and relaxing look whilst maintaining elegance.

The silver brings in some added extra special detail and a more expensive look while also contributing to a cool, delicate and Summer style.

CREATIVE STRATEGY

ELEGANT

To give the Deer Valley brand impact and to bring in the high end look we are after, I have gone with a very simple logo icon combined with the elegant font choices and plenty of white space.

To reflect elegant in your branding I have used a classic serif font, this also shows quality and high end attributes. Plenty of clean white space throughout layouts also brings in the elegant look, with special care in proportions of everything.

DELIGHTFUL

This is reflected in all the delicate details and plenty of elegant spacing but also brought through in traditional, elegant serif font choices.

The dainty details enable the Deer Valley brand to feel delightful and distinctive.

BOUTIQUE

To reflect boutique, I see expensive thick stock with either a foil or blind emboss to give the Deer Valley brand that extra care and delightful detailing.

Their amazing photos will also contribute to the boutique feel and the uniqueness of the deer at their special venue.
