Gaia Studio, a new sustainable and eco friendly, hair salon with an exceptional, unique and relaxing customer experience based in Melbourne, Australia.

Zen the owner of Gaia, came to me with the vision for her new salon that she had been dreaming up for about 5 years. She wanted to open it with a brand that wowed and also fit her exceptional and unique ethos. It honestly was such a  privilege to be part of this new venture and seeing the success of Gaia Studio.

Their unique offering is plant based, sustainable, eco-friendly, unique customer experience, holistic approach, caring for the planet, create stunning hair and creative.

COLOUR PSYCHOLOGY

I had a sense this business is sitting primarily in a Summer season (colour psychology) from brand key words such as beautiful, creative, elegant, gentle, quality. Summer is elegant, effortless and stylish. Quality is key and Summer is the epitome of good taste and elegance in a an effortless way. 

Autumn and Winter are super close in terms of keywords, so the bolder colours in this palette reflect that vibe. With the warm and softer colours also bringing in earthy more natural feminine tones.

CREATIVE STRATEGY

MODERN

To give this brand impact and to bring in the high end and modern look they are after, I did this through font selections. A bold logo font is used but as requested not too bold, and with a touch of elegance. Layout with lots of space also brings in the modern aspect. 

PREMIUM

Experienced, high end, premium, quality, this is  brought through with font selections, exquisite layout with plenty of space and style. 

Space is the ultimate modern and premium styling tool. Stock and print choices such as foiling, blind embossing can add to the level of premium-ness.

NURTURING

Warm, caring, nurturing, inviting, I see this being brought through with your softer caring colour palette tones. 

Messaging and photography will also contribute
to this brand attribute. Photography will be warm to bring in the nurturing aspect.
